Account Linking
If you purchased Boosta through Whop and want to use the Desktop app, you need to link your Whop account to a Boosta web account.
Why Link Accounts?
The Desktop app requires email/password authentication, which isn't available through Whop's iframe. By linking your accounts, you get:

- ✅ Synced subscription — Your Pro plan works everywhere
- ✅ Unified data — Configs, history, and credits in one place
- ✅ Multiple login options — Sign in via Whop, Google, Discord, or email
How to Link Your Accounts
Step 1: Generate a Code in Whop
- Open the Boosta app in your Whop community
- Go to Settings → Account
- In the "Whop Connection" section, click Generate Code
- A 6-digit code will appear (valid for 10 minutes)
Step 2: Create a Boosta Account
- Go to boosta.pro
- Click Sign In
- Create an account using:
- Discord
- Email & Password
Step 3: Enter the Code
- In the web dashboard, go to Settings → Account
- In the "Whop Connection" section, enter the 6-digit code
- Click Link Account
Step 4: Done!
Your accounts are now linked:
- 🎉 Your Whop subscription is synced to your web account
- 🖥️ You can now download and use the Desktop app
- 📱 Log in anywhere with your web account credentials
Using the Desktop App
After linking:
- Download the Desktop app
- Click Sign In
- Use your web account credentials (Google, Discord, or email)
- Your Pro subscription and all data will be available
FAQ
What happens to my credits after linking?
Credits and usage are combined. If you had credits in both accounts, they're merged into one.
Can I unlink my accounts?
Account linking is permanent. Once linked, both login methods (Whop and Web) access the same account.
I already have a web account with a subscription. What happens?
The better subscription is kept. If your Whop account has Pro and web has Free, the linked account becomes Pro.
The code expired. What do I do?
Simply generate a new code. Codes are valid for 10 minutes.
I'm getting an error when entering the code.
Make sure:
- The code is entered correctly (6 uppercase letters/numbers)
- The code hasn't expired
- You're logged into a different account than the one that generated the code
Do I need to link accounts every time?
No! You only need to link once. After that, you can sign in with either method.
Troubleshooting
"Account already linked" error
Your Whop account is already linked to a web account. Use that account to sign in, or contact support if you need help.
Desktop app shows different data than Whop
Make sure you're signed into the Desktop app with the linked web account, not a different one.
Subscription not syncing
After linking, refresh the page or restart the app. If still not working, log out and log back in.
